CWFF_Team - (Awards Show Presenter Screentest 2)
Sebastian, you have lots of energy which results in an engaging performance from the onset. We like the ingenuity you've shown here, though we felt it didn't leave you scope to show us your researching and writing skills - key to this brief. Good test overall.

Seb, you clearly went for the smart look! You've done well to show us you can have fun as well as taking on the serious side of presenting - though you need to ensure you show your audience more of the genuine, warm side of your character so you're as endearing as possible!

'Redneckers' Reviewing Team - (Mister Malmart Screentest 1)
Sebastian, we can see the broken fan and the flies buzzing about your head - you've done a good job of transporting us to this unsavoury and not so slick Malmart world. You've captured his disgusting side and evil cackle well.

It's great to see such an effort made, you clearly put a lot of thought into the mise en scene here. You have prioritised style over content though and this cannot help but look contrived, you spend too much time finding your light rather than telling the story with performance. You may have been better to keep your eyes out of that light until a narrative point in the script.
We would really have liked to have seen you push performance over technique.
That said, this is convincing and as ever, it is clear that you have bags of talent.

Sebastian, you are as convincing as ever in this test, and occupy the character thoroughly. At the beginning of the clip you look tired and dishevelled. Your reaction to Alara is one of puzzlement, but with an undertone of hope. Your leaning forward to meet Alara coupled with the urgency in your voice turns the scene around as it should. The strength in your performances have been in your engaging eye line, you never shy away from contact and that is an excellent tool to perfect. The one major criticism of this clip is that it is paced too slowly, but in this case, much of that has to do with your partner. Good Work.

Sebastian, this is a great test. There is an arc to the intensity, and we can see you almost regret the words as they come out. Despite anything that you have said in anger, there is still a sharp spike at the end. You are both hurt and angry in equal measure, you look washed out and attract sympathy despite your violent language. On the downside: we wished you had taken a few more risks - two good tests, and two good straight bats. This strong but safe work, we thought given your previous review and the parameters of this internal monologue, would really give you the license to experiment a bit more. Does this sound like we are being picky? We are. We look forward to your ST3. As with all, we are recommending you have a read of the Frank Ramos reviews, as there are bits and pieces you will find interesting and/or relevant. Excellent work.

Sebastian, this is great work. One of the best tests received. Well done. Your wonderful everyman charm permeates appropriately and means that despite the difficult text, you have the audience’s attention and sympathy. Your dramatic integrity is clearly evident and your look presented transfers well to screen (great eyes, by the way) and your art direction is “lived in” – it’s a very natural and authentic performance. Many other candidates should look at your clip, it is a great exercise in stillness and restraint, something you do without reducing the emotional intensity of the performance. This is a glowing review – you should be very pleased with yourself. Our only recommendation: we would like to see some more risks from you (actually, this is a criticism for most, many played it safe). Excellent work – keep it up!

Eve_Hawking and Steve_Nesbit - (Lead Role Screentest 1)
Sebastian, there are two good performances here. As we have mentioned before, it is often difficult for us to fully engage with extracts as we lose much of the context. However, it is clearly evident you have good instincts and a natural ability. You have a malleable look that suits a diversity of roles, however, we think your obvious strength would be the "everyman" which you could pull off on the small and silver screen. Nice work and good luck.
