Rob, we really enjoyed the imaginative way you interpreted the script. It broke up the piece well, showing us your excellent comedy talent and instincts, as well as proving yourself to be a highly competent entertainer. We're aware of the use of editing and whilst we ask those auditioning to avoid this in their tests, we felt the risks you took in breaking the rules on this occasion paid off. Despite this, in future, we'd be more impressed if you used a solution that didn't involve breaking the rules. We know you have in you to stick to the brief and rules and still deliver big time. Excellent work.

Rob, your performance throughout this clip is shallower than we are used to from you. The opening is not severe enough, you do not appear to be wan enough for us to believe what state you are in, or what you have been through. This also dilutes the power of your initial engagement with Alara, since there is not enough curiosity or contrast. Despite this, as we progress in to the scene, your Joseph is very likeable, you have managed to create a warm character and the pace was determined nicely by you. The thing to remember here is that the previous events have completely turned your world upside down, you have only had a few hours to make sense of the shocking news, then, out of nowhere you find a curiosity, someone who knows about your situation and you cling to her for help. We know you are capable of more than this Rob, it's a shame you kept it so light.

Rob, another solid test, good work. Like Denver, you took risks with a darker interpretation of the script. Although not as venomous as his, there is barb in your delivery, one that matches your effective scowl well. You have achieved a balance, between the bitter and cutting malaise and sensitivity, without disengaging the audience. The main emotion which we haven't seen in either tests is more a endearing boy next door charm - but you have ST3 to look forward to in that respect. Lastly, we felt more progress could have been made on the accent - careful with your vowels and keep them in check, don't let this get you down next time. As with all, we are recommending you have a read of the Frank Ramos reviews, as their are bits and pieces you will find interesting and/or relevant. Strong work.

Rob you have taken a lot of risks with your performance, and that is very refreshing to see. Some have paid off, and some haven’t but it does nonetheless give us the strong impression that you are not frightened to explore. On the whole, your performance is naive, but rather than take that as a purely negative statement, be assured that we see an ability that needs to be tamed. The important thing is that we recognize it and feel the potential. On a technical note, your accent needs work. It may not seem strong to you, but words like “nothing” give it away, so please try and remedy that for the next test. Your look is excellent, even the scowl can be endearing and that is an essential part of the star package. You will receive stronger direction with the next test, so make sure that you consider it carefully.

Rob, this is a cracking clip, we love it and it would be hard to improve upon. Little more can be said. Well done! the timing at the end is perfect.
