I grew up in Sweden. We were very poor and consequently my mother would have me sleep in a shoebox. I later grew to love the theatre and the attention I received. I took every opportunity I had to perform, including street busking in Copenhagen during the summer of '67 with a hippie flautist.
Now I live a sedate life in Buffalo. Oh, wait Brooklyn, I mean Brooklyn!

GSOH Reviewing Team - (Pauline Screentest 1)
Marina, this was a solid effort. It felt a tiny bit too long to ramp up, and when you had, we think you could have moved things along faster, without the character suffering. When you did get it right, it was excellent, and your choice of pace at the ending was quite powerful, albeit a little too drawn out again. Excellent effort and good work.

Marina, we really loved your ad-lib at the start and your comic timing was right on. There was a very intriguing dark side of Marika coming out here and it was very good to see. You came close a few times to overdoing the accent to the point of caricature, so you should pay attention to not letting that ruin your performance. Great ending though. Well done.

Marina, your warmth and presence in front of camera impresses again. You revelled in the descriptions of her likes and dislikes, and delivered well on the final joke about football which left us with the delicious curiosity about a potential pretentious element to Kim. The only thing that was missing perhaps was the initial element of aggression and/or ‘manliness’ – this may have made the contrasts even funnier. But very good work here Marina, well done!
